A super quick and easy recipe that the whole family will love. This delicious Slow Cooker Cheeseburger Pasta is made in just the one pot and saves on washing up. Slow cookers have been proven to be more economical to run than the conventional oven and are brilliant for preparing meals ahead of time on those occasions where there just aren’t enough hours in the day. With just a little bit of prep, you can step away from the kitchen for a few hours and allow this one to make itself, magic! See method

What you’ll need


• Iceland Minced Beef and Onion 650g
• 400g Fusilli Pasta
• 1 X Iceland Grated Mild Cheddar 250g
• 2 tbsp Iceland Chopped Garlic
• 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
• Salt and Pepper
• 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
• 2x OXO Beef Stock Cubes
• 3 tbsp Lea and Perrins Worcester Sauce
• Pickled Gherkins or American Mustard

• Large Slow Cooker
• Frying Pan


  1. Drizzle the oil in the base of your slow cooker before adding in the frozen minced beef and onion.
  2. Top with 900ml hot water, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, crumbled stock cubes and stir together.
  3. Cook together on high for 4 hours until the mince is brown.
  4. 20 minutes before the end of cooking time, add the dry pasta to the pot and cover with the lid, add a splash more hot water here if needed.
  5. Once the pasta is cooked, turn off the slow cooker and stir through the grated cheese.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, then serve. Top tip: for that ultimate cheeseburger taste, top with some sliced pickled gherkins or a drizzle of American mustard!
