British Frozen Food Federation - Gold Award

Iceland's Duck in Plum Sauce beat two other poultry-based products from top retailers to the Gold Award.

The British Frozen Food Federation is the leading Trade Association for the frozen food industry. Over the last 21 years, BFFF have run the ultimate new product awards event which has become known as the ‘Oscars of the Frozen Food Industry’. The rationale for this highly prestigious awards scheme is to reward and recognise the terrific quality and product development in the frozen food market during the last year.

The Grocer Own Label Excellence - Frozen Food Savoury Award

Iceland's Tandoori Chicken Tikka Masala won the Frozen Food Savoury Award in The Grocer Own Label Excellence Awards. It beat 5 other finalists due to its ease of preparation and convenience, as well as it's portion size and quality. 

The Grocer Own Label Excellence Awards recognise the most outstanding products in the own label category. Products are judged on taste, appearance, packaging, content, value for money and clarity of labelling. The awards recognise existing and new products as long as they are commercially available and not in development.
