How to cook

Oven cook From Frozen

Set your oven to fan at 200°C / Gas Mark 6 and pre-heat for 10 minutes. Remove my pizza from all packaging and place directly onto the middle shelf of the oven for 15 Minutes. While you are cooking my pizza please do not open the oven door otherwise you will lose heat. The above instructions are guidelines only. Ensure the product is thoroughly cooked before serving. Do Not re-freeze after defrosting and never eat my pizza piping hot, let it rest for 1 minute out of the oven so you will appreciate the flavours of each ingredient.

Truly authentic Italian pizza, made in Italy. This is a white pizza, no tomato. The flavours are outstanding. Buffallo mozzarella and Neapolitan friarielli, which is a bit like spinach. Very pleased Iceland are selling these as most pizza in the UK is anything but authentic. They can be good too but they're different products. What would we expect from Gino D'acampo. If you know and like Italian pizza, as served in Italy or in places like Franco Manca, you'll like this.

‘‘This is not my favourite Gino D’Campo pizza. The base is good, keeps nice a crispy. The yellow peppers, tomatoes and the friarielli, which is a lot like spinach is all good and tasty. However, the mozzarella di buffalo cheese just does not work in this combination, it’s just too bland, it was like having a huge dollop of white sauce on the pizza. I tried putting black pepper and chilli oil on and it was still too bland!

Wasn't sure whether I would like this one (love the Margherita) as never tried this topping before but it surprised me with how much I did like the Friarielli. I'm not a huge fan of yellow peppers, a little sweeter than I care for with my veg, but those weren't at all bad either on this, I guess a bit balanced out by the black pepper which was surprisingly strong/hot. Prefer the Margherita but this was a nice alternative and once again a whole new level to most of the pizza you can get pretty much anywhere else in this area, if not country.

Awful. Too much cheese that left a sickly milky taste. I wouldn't put my name to such a disappointing pizza.

Bland

Delicious pizza. Lovely crispy base, delicious toppings and a breath of fresh air not to have a pizza drowned out with tomato puree or similar.

Absolutely disgusting! I was really excited to try this new range as am a big fan of Iceland food but this pizza was the worst I’ve ever tried. There was nearly no taste, the cheese was watery with no flavour, the spinach was bitter and next to no vegetables. I think I will stick Iceland’s own brand of pizzas in the future.

The best frozen pizza ever!!

I'm food fussy. My husband's italian. This is a delicious pizza that I'm buying every week. The base is a delight. I'm a white pizza lover now. Hey. Truly excellent.

Absolutely amazing pizza! Best pizza i had in a while. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients, fluffy tasty dough. All about attention to detail i guess. Thank you delivery guy for bringing it, thank you supermarket for selling it! Not sure what else to say. You have to try it.
