Seafood Spaghetti

A mouthwatering combination of king prawns and scallops in a tomato, chilli and basil sauce. Simply delicious!

Ingredients

Method

  • 350g extra large roeless scallops
  • 1 box black tiger prawns
  • 500g onion
  • Garlic
  • Tomato sauce
  • 500g spaghetti
  • 100ml olive oil
  • 100ml white wine
  • ½ bulb garlic
  • 2g basil
  • 10g red chilli
  1. Defrost the seafood overnight. Then remove the shells from the prawns & de-vein, cut the scallops in half.
  2. Finely slice chilli & garlic. Remove the seeds if you do not want dish to be too spicy.
  3. Add spaghetti to pan of salted boiling water. Cook for approximately 10 minutes.
  4. Season the seafood with salt & pepper. Add a little olive oil to hot pan, then add seafood.
  5. Cook seafood for 1 minute each side, then add garlic & chilli, cook for another minute. Then add wine to the pan.
  6. Add tomato sauce to the pan, simmer for 2 minutes. Then add your fresh basil.
  7. Drain the cooked pasta & add to your pan. Mix thoroughly, ensuring all pasta is coated.
